Fazil's films are unique. Either by its theme or by its style.
Manichitrathazhu and
Harikrishnans are finest examples. He is good at telling love stories.
Nokkethaadoorathu Kannumnattu and
Aniyathipravu have proved this. He is good at conceiving rustic visuals. Again
Manichitrathazhu proves it. All his films had helped artists bloom to popularity. Mohanlal, Sobhana, Nadia Moidu, Samyuktha Varma, and so on.
Here comes another actress sure to win the hearts of film lovers. Nikita. Originally from Sind in Pakistan her family migrated to Mumbai before partition, she is the new heroine of Fazil film
Kaiyethum Doorathu. She is so intent on becoming an actress, Nikita had completed her acting course and joined B.A course. After a handful of music albums and modeling assignments Nikita was offered a role in
Hay. She can handle Punjabi, Marathi, Telugu apart from Hindi and English. She is trying to learn Malayalam now.
She did a role in a Telugu film
Hai. In
Hai her hero is Rakesh, son of director of the film. The pattern is repeating here in Fazil film. Fazil's son Shanu her hero in
Kaiyethum Doorathu.
Her first scene in Malayalam was from a song sequence, a salutation to Lord Krishna. She wrote the lines in Hindi and memorized them for the dance shot.
She is happy that she had the opportunity to act with Mammootty, especially when he did a photo session with Shanu and Nikita. She has chosen acting as her career though her father Irvinder Singh is passive about it. Nikita believes Fazil has brought her luck.
