Come Onam, and Mohanlal will complete 25 years in Malayalam cinema. To mark this event a big festival is organized from September 8 to September 14. Director Rajeevnath is the organizer of this festival. He was one of Mohanlal's advisors in the initial years of his career.

The festival will start off with the screening of Mohanlal's film in Poojapura grounds. This was the place where he used to hang out with his friends when his career had not begun in cinema. Mohanlal wants all the funds that were collected by this film to be donated to charity causes.
