Kalabhavan Mani, very popular in the social scenario in the Malayalam film industry has managed to establish himself firmly in the Tamil and Telugu film industry too. This artist who began his career with mimicry and later tried his luck at singing folk songs has come a long way. His Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum and Karumaadikkuttan in which he appeared as a mentally retarded person ran for weeks in fully packed houses. Also, films like Vaalkannadi, Vellithira and Pattalam were hits excluding many others. Though he lacks the looks of a conventional 'hero', Kalabhavan Mani is for sure going far!
