His first film was OOMA PENNINU URIYADA PAYYAN, where he played the role of a villain. From there he played a role of negative shade in MEESA MADHAVAN. He hit popularity chart with MIZHI RANDILUM. Though the promos did not emphasize him Indrajeet has no regrets about it. He says that Dileep is more in demand and it helped the commercial aspects of the film.

Being son of Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran has been the best thing that ever happened to him. Expectations are high, and he has left no stone unturned. Indrajeet has learnt as much as possible from his parents. He says that he is trying to improve with each film. Not many know that Indrajeet is also a singer.

His forth-coming film is MULLAVALLIYUM THENMAVUM. He has sung a song for this film. The role is a very different one. Indrajeet plays the role of a sculptor. Apart from that he also plays a very important role inn director Joshi's film RUNWAY in which he dons the role of a Police Officer.
