It is a pet project of actor Dileep. He was an assistant to Kamal and has done some directorial assistance in few films. He has some friends whom he would like to help. So he is producing a film, a full-length comedy placing himself in the lead with Bhavana as the heroine. Jhony Antony will direct the film. Jhony associated with Kamal and Jose Thomas with whom Dileep also did work before becoming an actor.

Dileep is bringing Ashish Vidyarthi and Sarath Saxena and the top stars in Malayalam in CID Moosa. Vijaya Raghavan, Jagathy, Cochin Haneefa, Harisree Asokan, Oduvil Unnikrishana are the other actors. Uday Krishana and Siby K Thomas are writing the script. Gireesh Puthanchery has written six songs in this film, which are tuned by Vidyasagar.

We have seen Bhavana in 'NAMMAL' directed by Kamal and is a box office success in Kerala. Bhavana did a role of a girl in the slum, which was central to the film theme though the heroine was Renuka. However the role did by Bhavana attracted many and she is getting more roles than Renuka now. Presently she is acting with Mammootty in CHRONIC BACHELOR. She has been chosen while there was a rumor that Dileep is going into production. He went on denying it for some time. But last week he suddenly decided to invest money.

Lal Jose directs Dileep at locations in Nepal!

Lal Jose is not sitting quiet waiting for the muhurath shot of 'PATTALAM' that is going for the shooting sets on 10th of March. He is busy with another project, which presents Dileep in the main role. The film will be shot in Nepal and Lal Jose has just left for Katmandu to scout the location.

Hameed who produced 'MAANATHE KOTTARAM' produces this. And the very same scriptwriter Robin Thirumala who wrote 'MAANATHE KOTTARAM' is writing the script for the new film. It is a sign of gratitude on the part of Dileep. Hameed was the producer who gave Dileep the first chance as a hero. Robin wrote the script and dialogues for Dileep. And Lal Jose made him a super star. The new film will be a romantic comedy with importance given to music and humor.
