Dileep was the most important person this week for the Kerala film exhibitor's federation. Two months ago Dileep was the most detested person as far as the Malayalam film producers, distributors and exhibitors were concerned. It was Dileep who was instrumental in the arrest of producer Dinesh Panikkar in connection with a cheque bounce case. Common platform of the organizations of the above sections proclaimed a ban on his films; they called upon their members not to cast Dileep in their films.

But they were silenced automatically by the success of his films one after another in the box office. The super hit MEESA MADHAVAN made them dumfounded. The exhibitor's federation invited Dileep to open their new building of their HQ in Trichur. Dileep promptly went and lit the ceremonial lamp. They failed in banning him in an earlier occasion. What if they banned him this time; for not accepting their invitation?
