After her wedding to Manoj K Jayan, Urvashi had taken a break from films. She had concentrated more on television and character role in Tamil films.

Now she is back in Malayalam cinema. Very soon Urvashi would be acting in Alex Thankachan's ABHAYATHEERAM. Urvashi would be playing the role of a nun in this film. She says that till now she had not taken up any roles because nothing was interesting enough. The shooting is progressing rapidly in and around Alleppy.
