Navya learns Tamil for KOOTHUPATTARAI
 Navya Nair is busy learning the nuances of Tamil. She will be playing the lead role in KOOTHUPATTARAI. Navya is very particular to give her own voice to the character. So learning Tamil is a must. Prasanna is the hero for this film, which is directed by Prakash Raj. Tamil world eyed Navya when she stole several achievements through a spectacular performance in NANDANAM, a movie directed by Ranjith. During that period Navya got several offers from Tamil to act with Madhavan, Prasanth, Vijay and Ajith. But she rejected all those chances as she was pursuing higher studies. Navya told that she has agreed to act in KOOTHUPATTARAI as it is a good role. The character, which Navya presents, is Nandini. She is the daughter of a rich Abkari Contractor. Her mother is dead. Her father is very crooked and cruel. So she wants to stand on her own feet to escape from the clutches of her father. Prasanna does the role of Chandru who is in love with Nandini. Kandippa Nadannirikkum was the first Tamil dialogue, which Navya uttered. Director Prakash Raj liked her Tamil very much. Navya told that she has no dreams in Tollywood. Malayalam films come first for her. She is very specific to act only in good roles. She does not like glamour roles. Recently she raised strong criticism against renowned Malayalam Director Bhadran for taking some obscene shots without the knowledge of Navya. Let us wait for Navya as Nandini.
