Navya Nair one of the to actress has signed a Tamil film. This film, which has been titled as ELLAMAE DRAMA THAN. Navya bagged the best actress at the filmfare awards ceremony for NANDANAM.

Earlier Navya had refused to act in Tamil films. She had declined offers from famous directors like K Balachandar and Bharathiraja. Navya is now bored of her roles in Malayalam cinema. ELLAMAE DRAMA THAN is being produced by Prakash Raj (Rai) under his home banner Duet Films. She feels that her role in this film is perfect. Prasanna (FIVE STAR fame) is cast opposite Navya.
