Mohanlal was shooting for his latest film BALETTAN. He had a big surprise when director Ram Gopal Varma came to meet him on the sets. Ramu was ready with the script of his next film EK.

Ramu wants Mohanlal to play an important role in his film EK that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan. Earlier Mohanlal had worked in Ramu's COMPANY. This film also brought him the best supporting actor award at the IIFA.

Right now Mohanlal has agreed to do this role, provided his date's match with that of Amitabh's and Ajay Devgan. The film will go on floor by august this year.
