Well-known writer Renji Panicker is now going to try his hand in direction. Earlier he had scripted films. Popular among the genre were EKALAVYAN, COMMISSIONER, LELAM, PATHRAM and PRAJA. He was also one of the producers of PRAJA.

His directorial debut has been titled as SATHYAM. The film will go on floor in a couple of months. Our sources say that Renji has already roped in Mohanlal to perform in the lead role.
