Vinayan is searching for a leading lady for his forth coming film and the girl should be between the age group of 17 to 21 years to act as a ghost. Vinayan who came into scene with the film, 'CHANDRANUDIKKUNNA DIKKIL' is again repeating his pet theme of horror in his new film. 'CHANDRANUDIKKUNNA DIKKIL' was an instant success then. Infact the producer withdrew from the project fearing loss and Vinayan organized funds to release it and had become a prestige issue for him to release it. So he had secured the rights and invested money. The movie was a big hit and Vinayan has never looked back after that.

He is presently occupied with the post shooting works of MEERAYUDE DHUKAHVUM MUTHUVINTE SWAPANVUM''. After that he will straight away start the horror movie. For some time the Malayalam films were dominated by the horror cum soft porn scenes. 'INDRIYAM' in DTS collected well and the trend had been set in three years ago.

In 2002 Anil Babu did a horror film with Gheethu Mohan Das and Mani, which collected good money. Now it is the turn of the director of the poor man to bring out a horror film. Vinayan is on the look out for a teenage girl for the film. Though he had earlier announced a film with Mohan Lal, it is the horror film that will go to the sets first.
