The latest film of Mohanlal 'MR. BRAHAMACHARI' came out on Friday the 14th of March. This is the first film to be released since the conflict between the distributors and exhibitors were locked in before a month. Incidentally 'MR. BRAHAMACHARI' was not expected an early release for it was heard the Priyadarsan- Sreenivasan -Mohanlal venture 'ORU KILICHUNDAN MAMPAZHAM' would be given the first priority. But it did not happen.

'MR BRAMACHARI' is sharing a common factor with another film directed by Siddique in which Mammmotty is acting. Both the super stars are playing the roles of bachelors. The coincidence ends with the name only, says Thulasi Das the director of MR BRAHMACHARI. Siddique maintains that he started thinking about the project more than two years ago and he could not withdraw from it just because another film suggesting the very idea in title was launched. The content of both the films are totally different and viewers will accept them, as it is, hopes the directors.

BALETTAN

Mohanlal after completing 'ORU KILICHUNDAN MAMPAZHAM' is preparing for his next film BALETTAN directed by V M Vinu. The story is by T A Shahid who also happens to write the script for the film. He is the brother of T A Razhak who is a renowned scriptwriter. Aroma Money who produced MR BRAHMACHARI is the producer of BALETTAN. The film has Jagathy Sreekumar, Janardana, Oduvil Unnikrishana, Atul Kulkarni, Innocent Harisree Asokan and jayasudha.
