A recently released P R copy says director Ranjith is currently working on three projects. Some body should caution him to concentrate on one. Some months ago he announced a project with Mohanlal, which did not materialize. Ranjith is considered to be an influential director in Malayalam, but it takes time to materialize things in his case. The Mohanlal project had to be shelved. He had to go on another production immediately to save his face.

Producer Augustine might have seen seven hells by now. It was in the spirit of a payback both Ranjith and Augustine finished 'MIZHI RANDILUM'. Ranjith was undergoing tremendous pressure while his 'NANDANAM' was shut up in film box for a long time.

So there is a black demon of ill luck still casts its eye on Ranjith. Though 'NANDANAM' had just picked up in the third week of its release the lady luck has yet to bless the gifted director. Ranjith is currently writing story for a film that is being produced by his brother Raghunath. Padmakumar his associate is directing the film. Prithviraj, Kavya Madhavan, Navya Nair and Indrajith are the artists in this film. The artists alternate to Dileep phenomenon is shaping up very fast!

Next film by Ranjith is 'PULIYANKOM'. Dileep is the hero. Ranjith writes the script. In addition to the above activities, the PR copy informs Ranjith is writing two scripts for two super star films and directing a film written by another scriptwriter. This is where one need caution Ranjith. Let Ranjith do any number of films for he has the energy now. But this business of bulk announcement seems to be somewhat foolish.
