Yunus Vasudevan is a retired government official. At this age his testosterones are not allowing him to sit quiet at home. He regularly visits the local college in the pretext of dropping Priyamvada in his car. He is the local guardian of Priyamvada. He never learns from his experiences. The minute he enters the campus, a chorus from the girls "Daaddieeee" greets him and he goes mad like a wild boar.

He drives past the gate without looking back once. But he cannot resist the temptation to reach the college next day. He wants to be there before the students enter the classrooms. He selects the best dress that he thinks best suits him. But the students think otherwise. He, a sixty plus looks a giant bore in that trendy teenage dress.

What he most fears in the campus is the presence of Sajan Joseph, the one who cuckoos with Priyamvada. He gets furious but Priyamvada herself enjoys the company of Sajan.

This character director Lohita Das has written for Kochin Haneefa in 'KASTURIMAN' a different campus love story. The switchover of Kochin Haneefa from villain roles to comedian had ade him more popular and almost all the Malayalam films have him in good meaty roles. The recent film MEESA MADHAVAN in which the role of an idiot local political leader made the producers go after Haneefa as a most wanted comedian. In the last five years he has done a lot of memorable comedy roles. Yunus Vasudevan would be a fine tuned role for Haneefa.
