Priyadarsan has no time for talent hunt in Kerala. He is busy and is not in a mood to go through the process of selecting heroines from Kerala. If at all he tries it will be a waste of time. We cannot find fault with him for Malayalam has not produced much talented heroines since Manju Warrier. That is why he is bringing Richa, yet another heroine from out side to Malayalam. 'KILICHUNDAN MAMBAZHAM' directed by Priyadarsan has Mohanlal as hero. He intends to bring out this film during VISHU festival next year.

Richa has acted in the Tamil film SHAJAHAN. This film has Jagathy Sreekumar and Innocent apart from Kalabhavan Mani.

Christmas release

GRAMOPHONE was announced as an Onam release. It did not happen. Now it is scheduled for Christmas. One hopes it really comes out in December. There is a line up of half a dozen films during Christmas.

The other films are YAATRAKKARUDE SRADDHAKKU by Satyan Anthikad, CHATURANGAM by K Madhu, KATTUCHEMBAKAM by Vinayan, and KALYANRAMAN by Shafi. VAALKKANNADI by Anil Babu is among the six.

So we have a Mohanlal film for Christmas. While Dileep has two films Jayaram, Kunchako Boban and Kalabhavan Mani, have one each. Vinayan brings new faces. A Suresh Gopi film completed a long ago is expected to come out during the same period.
