Gopika is lucky. The new comer has been offered roles in two films 'PRANAYAMANI THOOVAL' and 'PRANAYAGEETHANGAL'. The first film is directed by Thulasi Das and second by G K Gouthaman. Thulasi Das was searching for a new actress when this girl Gopika who is a runner up in Miss Trichur contest appeared on the cover page of a women's magazine.

The photographer who took the photo of Gopika also turned up at Thulasi Das's location. Thulasi immediately arranged for a screen test. Gopika was chosen as the leading lady of POO POLIRISHTAM.

Gopika who hails from Trichur is just out of school and has joined the college. She was the winner of the beauty contest in the school. She is known as Girly to all her near and dear ones but she has been christened as Gopika for the screen by Thulasi Das.
