The distasteful dialogues and some scenes in which the hero indulges in loose dance with Tamil glamorous queen Mumtaaz in THANDAVAM had kept the women audience away. Shaji Kailas is down but guess who consoled him?

The only person who seems unaffected by the backlash THANDAVAM created is none other than its hero Mohanlal! Mohanlal is unaffected by pleasure or pain. He leaves every thing behind once his contribution is over. He doesn't attach himself to it. He never laments neither does he complain. He never repents.

You can't expect a film star to be a stoic but Mohanlal is. "You have made a film. So what? Leave it there. It may become a hit or a flop. Let it not affect you". This is Mohanlal. In fact he was only one person who stood by Shaji Kailas.

Shaji shut himself indoor. All in the industry pooh poohed him. Mohanlal is ready for his next film. Shooting of his present film CHATHURANGAM is coming to an end.

BRAHMACHARI directed by Thulsi Das is to begin on October 10 in Gopichettippalayam in Tamilnadu. He has a comedy character. The kind he used to present along with Sreenivasan in Satyan films.
