VASANTHIYUM LAKSHMIYUM PINNAE NYAANUM will join the bandwagon of those Malayalam films which were remade in Hindi. The film will be produced by Babu Panikker and Ramesh Nambiyar. The duo has asked Malayalam director Vinayan, who had directed the original version to direct the Hindi version. Vinayan has agreed to direct the Hindi version, but before that he wants to complete his VELLINAKSHATRAM. This film is also being produced by Babu Panikker and Ramesh Nambiyar.

VASANTHIYUM LAKSHMIYUM PINNAE NYAANUM has been remade in Tamil and Kannada. The Tamil version starred superstar Vikram and the Kannada version starred Darshan Tugudeepa. Both the films were big hits. The film has a strong story line and the producer duo hopes that the film clicks with the Bollywood audiences as well.
