Vishu this year will see a release of four films. The film which is celebrated on the 14th of April have Rafi Mercartin's CHATHIKATHA CHANTHU, Vinayan's VELLINAKSHATRAM, Fazil's ATHU NEE THANNE and Joshi's RUNWAY. Some of these films might get postponed.

CHATHIKATHA CHANTHU is likely to hit theatres on the 9th of April. This film stars Jayasurya and is all about a man whose name posses' problem for him. Vinayan's VELLINAKSHATRAM is also ready and will be released on the 27th of March.

The other two films are not very sure of release. Fazil's ATHU NEE THANNE might get released after the festival. Fazil plans to make lot of changes with the film. The promotion for the film has also not picked up. Many distributors want this film to be released after the indo-Pak series. Major part of the post production work is yet to be completed. Joshi's RUNWAY is also likely to hit after the Festival. It is said that the lead actor Dileep is unhappy with the climax of this film. The climax is being reworked on.
