Suresh Gopi aims at Padmashree title

Of late all have been wondering, why superstar Suresh Gopi is engaged in socio cultural activities. He is preaching about the evils of alcohol. Also strongly exhorting the public to abstain from alcohol. Apart from this he is seen visiting violence ridden areas to pacify the victims. Its great, because now that he has no movies in hand, he is utilizing his time positively.

But the news is that he having no films in hand and social work has no relation at all. In fact Suresh Gopi is said to be aspiring for the Padmashree title from the Union Government. The reason being that two superstars (Mammootty and Mohanlal) have already won this title, now its time one more superstar won it.

A friend of Suresh Gopi, advised him to involve himself in social activity, because Padmashree is awarded to those who contribute to welfare of the society.

Its news that Suresh Gopi went to Marad in Calicut, where a conflict took place between two communities and met the victims of the riot. Later in a meeting he asked people to abstain from alcohol.

The film industry is laughing their heads off but is wondering what social work had been carried out by the other two to get the Padmashree title.
