Meera Jasmin enters Tamil

Sutradharan gave Malayalam a talented actress who in a short period could be fine-tuned. But it seems Malayalam directors are no more interested in Meera. She has not been signed for any new films.

It was heard that some directors had thought of casting her in lead roles but subsequently dropped the idea. At the start of her career she was subjected to a malicious campaign from some quarters and some magazine took it up. She says ' somebody spread rumors in post cards and through e mail made her life miserable'. And Malayalam industry turned away from the girl.

But you know her lady luck is beckoning her from across the border. Yes the news is that she has been invited by the great director K Balachandar to act in a Tamil film.
