Soundarya who is at present acting in Priyadarsan's film has been selected to play the lead role in Shaji Kailas new Malayalam film. Her first Malayalam film YATRAKKARUDE SRADHAKKU by Satyan Anthikkadu is running house full all over Kerala.

The Shaji Kailas film has Mammootty and Suresh Gopi in the most important roles. The story is by Vinayan and the script is by Unnikrishnan B who wrote scripts for 'COVER STORY' and 'SIVAM'. The pooja and switch on of the film took place on 15, January on the location of the Tamil film Shaji is directing.

Not far away the pooja and switch on of the T V Chandran film took place. Noted writer Paul Zechariah switched on the camera.
