Rajasenan who usually casts Jayaram in his films is going with new artists in his latest film Nakshtrakkannulla Rajakumaran(The prince with twinkling eyes). The film will have not only new actors but new music director as well. Benny and Kannan are the music directors who are given independent work in Rajasenan film. They were the assistants to the music directors Berny-Ignasios. Rajasenan found his story idea from Vadakkan Paattu collection. A reference to a particular family of Kalari art mentioned in Vadakkan Paattu is the inspiration for Rajasenan.

This one is not a typical Vadakkan Paattu story but the story is to be brought to modern times by application. They are good at Kalari they are fierce fighters but at the same time, humorous people also. A strong love story is intertwined in the plot in, Nakshatrakkannulla Rajakumaran by scriptwriter V C Ashok.

K R Vijaya, Jagathy Sreekumar, Kalabhvan Mani are the senior artists in this film while the leading roles are given to new actors. Prithvi Raj, Ranju, Gayatri Raghuram are appearing in lead roles. Search for one more leading lady is on.
