Pakalppooram became a success despites it's lack of artistic quality. Anil-Babu duo is getting ready to direct their 25th film from August 20.

Santhosh Damodaran of Davar films who produced Pakalppooram are producing this film also. Kalabhavan Mani is cast as the hero of this film. Jagathy Sreekumar, Harisree Asokan, Salim Kumar, are the actors selected at present. T A Razak has written the story and script.

Hridayathil Sookshikan

Kannan Trissur who wrote the script for Captain directs his first film Hridayathil Sookshikan.
Sudheesh, Rajan P Dev, Cochin Haneefa, Salim Kumar, Kochu Preman, Babu Namboodiri, K P A C Lalitha and Bindu Panikkar are to act in this film written by Kannan.

Pranayamanithooval

Vineethkumar gets his second film shortly after the release of his first film Kanmazhi He is cast as the hero along with Indrajith, and Jayasoorya in Pranayamanithooval directed by Thulasi Das and produced by P K R Pilla. The recording of the film took place in a Trichur studio where five songs have been recorded. Yesudas, Chitra, M G Sreekumar, Sujatha and Vidhu Pratap sang these songs.
