This Onam will witness the release and the fate of six Malayalam film. They are CAMPUS, IVAR, MIZHI RANDILUM, SWAPNAKOODU, BALETTAN, and PATTALAM.




BALETTAN stars Mohanlal. This film is a kind of comeback film for Mohanlal. It is also said that in his last film audiences rejected him outright because of his overweight problem. For this film it is said that Mohanlal has shed almost eight kilos, which is a good thing for him and the viewers.


SWAPNAKOODU is a Kamal film. It has spurted interest among the youth for two reasons. One is that this film stars Prithviraj, Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya, Bhavana and Meera Jasmine. Another reason is that this film is inspired by Farhan Akhtar's DIL CHAHTA HAI.



PATTALAM stars Mammootty. This actor who had lost the league is back is the race with the success of his film CHRONIC BACHELOR.





Kavya Madhavan and Indrajit star in Ranjith's MIZHI RANDILUM. Mohan's CAMPUS will be the debut film of Madhu Warrier and T K Rajeev Kumar's IVAR stars Jayaram.
