Dileep is acting in Kuberan  directed by Sallapam  fame Sunder Das in Ooty. Samyuktha Varma and a new face Uma are cast in the lead roles. Dileep is to join the sets of Kunhikkoonan  after he finishes the work of Kuberan . He portrays a midget in this film for which, a specialist make up man is engaged to work on. Sasisankar will be directing this film and Benny P Nairambalam writes the script. Dileep has given dates to Lal Jose as well. The songs for this film have been recorded in a Chennai studio. Shooting will commence in February. Dileep's latest film Mazhathulli Kilukkam  is ready for release in the first week of February. His co-star is Navya Nair, also the film has Sarada and Bharathi two senior artists in main roles. This film is directed by Akbar-Jose duo. Nandanam  is jointly produced by director Ranjith and actor Siddique. Ranjith has always associated with big budget and super star films. But this time he has come down to direct a low budget film with a new comer Prithvi Raj, son of late Sukumaran. The film has Navya Nair, a successful new face with two hit films to her credit. George Kithu, who directed the digital ghost movie Indriyam  is on to his next film. George an associate of late Bharathan couldn't get an assignment after Indriyam , which did, fairly well at box office one year ago. Kaloor Dennis will pen the script for this film. Jayaram has signed two films recently. One for Satyan Anthikad and the other for K P Kumaran. Rajasekharan a new comer is directing Kakke Kakke Koodevide  for which the songs were recorded in Trichur. The film which has Geethu Mohandas and Vijayaraghavan in the lead roles, will be shot in Harippad and surrounding villages.
