Malayalam cine industry seldom comes out with action packed films. After long we will be very soon another action film NARAN. Renji Panicker who has scripted action films like EKALAVYAN, COMMISSIONER, LELAM, PATHRAM, PRAJA will try hand in direction with NARAN.

This film is linked to the eight-year-old flick THE KING. NARAN will start from where THE KING had ended. NARAN will be based on the communal riots that happened in the state recently. Mohanlal has already been roped in for the film. He will play the role of a cop. Lakshmi Gopalaswamy will be playing opposite Mohanlal. NARAN will have a villain from Bollywood.

Presently Renji is working on the script. He is has been penning down some real hard-hitting dialogues. Mass program in Marad has been used in his script. NARAN is slated to hit screen this Christmas.
