Viji Thampy has paired Prithviraj and Gheetu Mohandas in his latest film NAMMAL THAMMIL. This is for the first time that Prithviraj and Gheetu are performing together. NAMMAL THAMMIL is a campus love story.

Vicky (Prithviraj) and Anu (Gheetu) are students of an engineering college. Vicky is loved by all in the college because he is an all rounder. Most of the girls want to befriend him. Anu is also a bright student in the college. They both become good friends. Vicky is the son of an IAS officer while Anu's father is a journalist.

Johnny (Indrajit) is one person who detests Anu and Vicky's friendship. He creates problems between the two of them. A gap is created in their friendship. Every time Vicky tries to bridge the gap it widens more. Amidst all this Anu becomes friendly with Johnny. Unexpected happens. Vicky and Johnny become enemies.

Apart from Prithviraj, Indrajit and Gheetu this film also stars Balachandran Menon and Revathy. They play the role of Vicky's parents. Suhasini plays the role of Anu's mother. Jagathy, Shanavas and Saddique are the others in the film.

M Jayachandran scores the music while Girish Puthencherry has penned the lyrics. Alex Kadavil and Viji Thampi have written the script for this film. NAMMAL THAMMIL is being produced by Evershine Productions.
