Mohanlal is all set to act as a bus conductor in Sonu Sisupal's VAMANAPURAM BUS SERVICE. It's a comedy where Mohanlal plays the role of bus conductor by name Jhonny Lever. His is a character that is very much inspired by MGR. The film has him constantly humming MGR tunes. Lakshmi Gopalaswamy is Mohanlal's heroine.

Earlier Mohanlal had acted as MGR in Manirathnam's ERUVAR. He also has the body language and mannerisms of the yester year's star. The shooting of VAMANAPURAM BUS SERVICE is fast progressing in Guruvayoor.
