Mohanlal is to act as a college student in a film directed by K Madhu. The film has not been named as yet and Mohanlal is to act as a vibrant character in the movie. This is a new movie project that has created expectations among the Mohanlal fans.

Mohanlal presents Jimmy Attiprakkal a student activist turned political leader in this film. Coming from an affluent Pala Christian family. Jimmy Attiprakkal is an energetic leader of the Congress student wing, during his student days. He is later led in to active politics by Thomas Sar. To Jimmy, Thomas Sar is God. He becomes the state secretary of the youth wing of the congress party. He is given a ticket to the assembly elections from a prestigious constituency.

While he is widely accepted in the party, he is not a desirable person to the police and law enforcing agencies. Jimmy is involved in a lot of cases. He has a gang to carry out any of his instructions. He literally rules Kottayam district.

It is at this time a young lady police officer takes charge in Kottayam.
All the cases against Jimmy that were not proceeded on get opened by Nayana IPS. This causes a conflict in the higher levels of district administration. Another sensitive personality is the abkari contractor in the locality. His liquor bar and the church nearby becomes a focal point in the story.

Jimmy, Nayana IPS, Dr Sherina, the woman Jimmy marries and Lisa younger sister of Jimmy, Thoma sar, Kozhuvanal Jose, and Mathan are a few important characters in this film.

Mohan Lal will first finish the Shaji Kailas film Thandavam and move on to K Madhu film.
