Bhanupriya, popular actress of the late eighties is back into Malayalam cinema with Kamal's MANJUPPOLORU PENKUTTY. This film stars new faces Jayakrishnan and Amrita. The shooting has already begun in Kochi. Dream team Productions produces this film. Kalavoor Ravikumar has penned the script. Music to Kaithapram's lyrics is by Alphonse. Others in the star cast are Vijeesh Vijayan, Meera Krishna, Lalu Alex and Suresh Krishna.

Coming back to Bhanupriya, if rumours are to be believed then very shortly she is planning to break up with her husband. But she says that she is here just to complete some dance shows and films. After that she will return back to the US where her husband and his family stays. Bhanupriya who is back with her daughter has brought a separate residence for herself. Earlier she was staying with her parents.
