Jayaraj has decided to return to the commercial fold once again for he has engaged the popular scriptwriters Rafi-Macartin to write his script for THILAKKAM (Glitter). Further he has selected the most wanted hero and heroine for his new film.

Dileep and Kavya Madhavan act as lead in THILAKKAM. All the popular artists in the commercial circuit are included in the cast. Thilakan, Innocent, Oduvil, Jagathy, Janardanan, Cochin Haneefa, Harisree Asokan, C I Paul, Salim Kumar, KPAC Lalitha are among the artists.

For the last two films he has chosen non-filmy people play his characters. I M Vijayan the footballer and Vavachan were the leading artists in his SANTHAM and KARUNAM. SANTHAM had Seema Biswas as another important actress.

= Both films gave him international exposure but what Jayaraj wants now is a commercial success. Jayaraj finds it very difficult to get a producer to fund his filmy dreams. Jayaraj is ready with his script and is scheduled to start the shooting this month in Shornur, Pollachi and Morayoor.
