It is almost 10 years now since Sibi Malayil did a family story, which was well, accepted by the audience but ridiculed by the critics as tearjerker. 'AAKASADOOTHU' was an instant success. People were crying their hearts out. Their hearts bled. Madhavi, Murali and three child artists were the talk of Kerala. When it was shown in Delhi international festival in the mainstream section that year, the halls over flowed.

When the producer and the director come together after a decade there is an expectation in the minds of that generation. The director and producer also expect their project to be a success. Prem Prakash and Sibi Malayil are behind the film 'ENTE VEEDU APPPUVINTEYUM'.

Jayaram is bringing his son Kalidasan once again to the screen. Sibi who introduced Jyothirmayi in ISHTAM is casting her as the heroine in 'ENTE VEEDU APPUVINTEYUM'. It tells the story of a boy who thinks he is neglected both at home and school. It narrates the difference in relationships between a mother and a son and between the father and son.

Viswam is a manager in a bank. Meera his wife and Vasu alias Vasudev their little son had a very pleasant life initially. But it changes when the boy starts going to school. Some things makes the child think that his parents do not want him. The friends at school influence Vasu a lot and he feels more and more insecure at his house. This creates an atmosphere of uneasiness in the house. Sibi is getting two new scriptwriters Bobby and Sanjay to the film field. The shooting of the film is continuing at Kakkanadu in Ernakulam.

Sibi is simultaneously doing his other film KISAN that starts its second schedule in Pollachi.
