Geetha is a hard working girl. She saves every rupee that she earns for wedding. She does all type of work which includes rowing boats on the lake, to making coir items. Though she leads a busy life, at the end of the day one can see sorrow in her eyes. One look at her and one can say that there is something, which is hurting this girl terribly.

Geetha lost her parents when she was very small. The government has released financial aid for her, which would reach her only when she majors. She was brought up by Pappyamma.

Geetha is in love with Aalackal Chandran, who is a medical representative. He is also a newsreader in Kuttanad Cable Vision. Once upon a time the Aalackal family was known for its generosity. But things change and today this family is not is such a good state. Chandra strives hard to bring things as they were several years ago.

Geetha and Chandran love each other dearly, but their commitments come in the way of them confessing their love.
