Sibi Malayalil's next film is a simple love story. JALOTHSAVAM is a love story set in Kuttanad. This film has Kunchako Boban and Navya Nair in the lead. Sibi says that this film has a lot of emotional undercurrents. The film also stars Jagathy, Riyaz Khan, Shari, Sushama and Varghese. Music for this film is scored by Vayalar Sarthchandra Varma. Alphonse Joseph, lyrics is written by B R Prasad. Sindhu Raj has penned the script and the screenplay for this film. JALOTHSAVAM is produced by Shyam Jayan under the banner of Great Movie Entertainment.

Chandran (Boban) is a hard working guy in his village. He wants to live upto his father's(Nedumudi Venu) reputation. He only goal in life is to become rich and famous. For this he does all sort of work. He toils day and night.

Geetha (Navya Nair), is a self-made, smart and hardworking girl. She lost her parents when she was very young and is brought up by Pappiamma (Sujatha). Her only assets are a hew cows and ducks. She makes her living by rearing these animals and saves as much as possible. She hopes that some day she will marry Chandran and they will live happily.

They both love each other, but have no time to run around trees. They think about future. A simple love story with lots of emotions involved is what JALOTHSAVAM is all about.
