Mohanlal pins hope on Fazil film
Tuesday, March 23, 2004 Mohanlal is desperately looking out for a hit film. His last film VAMANAPURAM BUS ROUTE bombed miserably at the box office. As of now with hardly any films in hand Mohanlal has pinned hopes on Fazil's new film in which he plays a meaty role. The film, which is untitled, has Mohanlal playing the role of a person who has sixth sense. He can foresee future. Also he can communicate with spirit who happens to be his friend. This intuitional quality and his friendly spirit help him solve a murder mystery. Nayantara plays the role of the spirit. Sreekumar (Mohanlal) has unusual intelligence quotient. Reetha Mathews (Nayantara) is a medical student. Initially the film is about Sreekumar searching for Reetha Mathews, who is neither a human nor a ghost. Once he reveals this mystery, the two of them become friends and then they solve a murder mystery. The film also has Mukesh and Harishsree Ashokan playing roles of Mohanlal's friends. Fazil has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Ouseppachan has scored the music and lyrics are by Kaithapram. Anandakuttan wields the camera. The film is being produced under the banner of Ammu International. Last time Mohanlal and Fazil worked together in LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL, a film that bombed at the box-office. Hope this time the film brings good news for Mohanlal's career. The film is slated to be released during Vishu festival.
