Fazil has selected a heroine for his new film in which his son Fahad Fazil is to be introduced as the hero.

Fahad Fazil has changed his name and accepted a screen name - Shanu. So the new film by Fazil Kaiyetthum Doorath will have Shanu and Nikitha, that's the name of heroine, in the lead.

The film has started its shooting on 24th. It has a guest artist. Super star Mammootty. Rajan P Dev, Janardanan, KPAC Lalitha, Revathi, Cochin Haneefa, Sudheesh, Yadukrishnan are the actors. The shooting locations are Alleppy, (Fazil has a few scenes shot in his home town in all his pictures) Kochi, and Pollaachi. He intends to release the film in August.
