New sensation Jishnu is acting in CHOONDA. The family based story also stars Geethu Mohandas, Nithya Das and Suchita. The story line of the film is as follows. Devan (Jishnu) comes to his native after a gap of several years. He has something to do which was left incomplete long back. Also Devan does not want anyone to recognize him.

But one man in the village recognizes him instantly. Gopalettan recognizes his best friend Vasudevan's son. He even contacts Devan. But Devan contests that he is not the one Gopalettan is referring to. Somehow Gopalettan is not convinced about this. He knows that Devan is back to take revenge and even tries to stop him from doing so. Gopalettan also knows that Devan's anger is directed towards Varghese, who once upon a time created havoc in Devan's life.

Directed by Venugopan, CHOONDA has T P Madhavan as Gopalettan and Siddique as Varghese. Yousafali pens the lyrics for which Mohan Sitara renders music. Kalavoor Ravikumar writes the script for the film. Rest in the starcast include Oduvil, Subair and many others. Major part of the film has been shot in Ottappalam and surrounding areas.
