The first schedule of APARICHITAN has been completed. This film stars Mammootty. APARICHITAN has been shot at Nelliampathy. In APARICHITAN Mammootty acts as Raghuram, who is a wild life photographer working for the National Geographic Channel. When working on an assignment he meets five students. Asha Shanker, Simi Samuel, Meenakshi, Thomas Chacko and Siraj. Three of them are facing suspension because they had tried to leak the question paper on the previous day of the exam. They face lot of problems because of what they did and they leave to Nelliampathy to save face, along with the other two who help them.

Raghuram meets them and invades their privacy. At first they consider his as an obstacle. But later they come to know that he is a nice person. They get along well and become friends. But then one day suddenly Raghuram disappears. Rest of the story is about their quest for him. And as they do so they find his past.

Kavya acts as Meenakshi while Karthika performs as Simi Samuel. Mahi, a model from Delhi enacts the role of Kalyani. Kalyani is the person whom Rahguram meets when he travels from USA to this hill station in search of this rare bird.

Jagathy, Rajan P Dev, Salim Kumar and others also act in this film. Siraj Valiyaveethil is producing this film under the banner of Valiyaveetil Movie International. Sanjeev Sivan has penned the story while the dialogues and script are written by Siraj, Nidhin and A K Sajan. Lyrics are by Gireesh Puthencherry. Music is scored by Suresh Peters.
