It's an earnest approach to know what happens in the minds of those people who are abandoned by their children at old age. Three old women, their problems their life at an old age home is what AMMAKILIKOODU is all about. Story penned by Ranjit, AMMAKILIKOODU is being directed by his Padma Kumar.

Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Sukumari and KPAC Lalitha are leading their life in Karunalayam, which is owned by Eradi. Eradi now wants all these people to evacuate the old home. With nowhere to go, these women do not agree to evacuate. Eradi now employs Vivek to evacuate these people.

Initially Vivek (Indrajit) really tries hard to emotionally force these women to leave the home. But then he falls for the love and care that they show. Here he meets Akila (Navya Nair). Akila's mother also stays in Karunalayam. This is because her father ill-treats her mother. Vivek and Akila get closer and now they have something nice planned for these nice people who have been deserted by their family.

Kaithaparam pens the lyrics for which scores music for the film. AMMAKILIKOODU is being produced by Gargi Films.
