Another 3-D film to hit the screen soon

S P Balasubramanian Eighteen years after India's first 3-D film My Dear Kuttichathan was made, another multi-crore 3-D film The little Magician, is getting ready with its shooting expected to be completed in a week's time.

The film, being made under the Navodaya banner, has been shot mainly in New York and has well-known singer and actor, S P Balasubramanian, Suraj Balaji, a child star and Trilok Malik in the cast, besides a host of foreign actors, Navodaya Appachan, the film's producer, told reporters on the sets of the film.

The set here itself has been artistically converted into an American street complete with a restaurant. About 200 men laboured for two months to give it an authentic touch, he said. The main attraction of the film is a group of 40 specially trained dogs from Hollywood, who have already stolen the hearts of the film crew with their pranks, Appachan said.

The film would be dubbed in four languages Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu, he said. There were also plans to bring out a CD for television viewers, he said adding specially-made spectacles would have to be worn by the spectators for viewing the film in the theatre or on TV to get the 3-D effect.
