Theaters once again become alive

Still from Meesa Madhavan The Malayalam film scene has become alive once again this week with three more films released. The box office success of Meesa Madhavan and Sivam had given fresh breath to an almost dying industry.
Meesa Madhavan directed by Lal Jose is leading in appreciation and collection. Dileep and Jagathy Sreekumar score the credit for the popularity of the film. Next to them in performance are Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Kavya Madhavan, Cochin Haneefa, and Salim Kumar. S Kumar has done a fantastic job in cinematography.

Sivam attracts the audience with its and lightning dialogues thunderous fights. Performance wise Biju Menon and Saikumar score top. Collection is excellent.

Chirikkudukka by TS SAJI introduces Koottikkal Jayachandran a popular mimicry artist as the hero of the film. Jayachandran along with new actress Deepti hold the audience on humour. Jagathy Sreekumar Jagadeesh Cochin Haneefa supports the cast.

P G Viswambharan directs Puthooram Putri Unniyarcha an interpreted version of a story of legendary lady Unniyarcha from Northern Ballads. Vani Viswanath plays the role of Unniyarcha. Kunchako Boban and Jomol appear in the other important roles. It has just picked up collection. This is written by Satrugnan.

Sesham, which won the best film award from the state government, finds opportunity for public exhibition with Navodaya taking up the distribution rights. Sesham, directed by T K Rajeevkumar presents Jayaram in a totally different role of a lunatic. Gheethu Mohandas as a documentary filmmaker has performed well.
