KUNHIKKOONAN has completed 50 days of continuous run in the theaters in Kerala with establishing the popularity of Dileep once again after the super hit MEESA MADHAVAN, which has completed 150 days.

Even as these two films are reaping good yields, Kerala theaters are finding it difficult to get enough Malayalam films for screening. They are showing Tamil films. At least 50 Malayalam films are in the cans following financial constraints. It includes films by reputed directors and form well known banners. A number of films are under production but only a few are reaching the theatres for screening.

This week two films are to be released. One is 'PRANAYAMANI THOOVAL' by Thulasi das with Jayasoorya, Vineethkumar, Gopika, Dinu Denise and Sindhu in the lead.

The second film in queue is 'VAALKKANNADI' directed by Anil Babu. It has Kalabhavan Mani and Geethu Mohan Das.

VILLAIN, RAMANA, BHAGAVATHI, are the new Tamil releases.

The Kerala cities and towns are adorned with the posters of forthcoming latest James bond film 'DIE ANOTHER DAY'. James Bond has quite good number of loyal viewers in Kerala.
