Sahil Khan laughed his way into the hearts of people after his roles in Style and its sequel Excuse Me. He has been in headlines recently for all that has happened in his personal life with girlfriend Negar Khan. The hot couple will be coming together onscreen for the first time in Double Cross. Speaking with IndiaFM exclusively, Sahil Khan delves into the movie, his role of a gigolo, what's hot about Negar and much more.

Tell us about your role in Double Cross?
The role I play is of an uneducated young guy who comes from a small village and who is just normal, simple boy from Punjab and a farmer kind of a person. Then he goes to South Africa and then UK, he happens to become a gigolo.

You play a gigolo, it's a first in Bollywood how was the experience?
It does feel nice because it's something fresh and interesting. Instead of having the same old poor girl rich guy story with villains. I guess this is a better entertainment. This film is funny and light with the right dose of music.

Did you do a lot of homework for the role?
Not much, I am an actor and I get paid for whatever I am doing, everything is very temporary and if I have to play a gigolo then I don't have to hang around with them to study their behavior. I read a lot about them, and we live in 2005. We know how the world works and I think I did whatever I had in my mind. My producer and director are happy with me and the fact that they are repeating me in their next film means I am worth it.

Any memories while shooting?
To maintain continuity in the scenes, which we had shot in South Africa, in London in the freezing temperature, I had to wear just a t-shirt. I couldn't talk, it was minus temperature. But I had lot of fun as I am totally comfortable with the crew and everybody is young and chilled out.

Which is your favourite song from the album?
I think 'Aao Huzur' is my favorite.

Are you okay with nudity onscreen?
Yes I am fine with nudity, I think its very natural. As long as the person has the body to flaunt if not then it's not worth it.

How was the experience of working with Ayesha Jhulka?
Ayesha is a very senior co-star and I started liking her as a person even more when we were shooting together, she is very kind. And I have watched her since I was very young, in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, and I never thought at that point of time that one day I would be working with her and she would be so kind and polite with a new comer. I think she is a very polished actress.

This is the first time you and Negar are coming together, must have been fun on the sets?
There are a lot of things that are happening for the first time in the movie, this is my fourth release but my first solo film. Working with Negar was a very comfortable experience, as a co-star she was lovely.

What do you think is the hottest thing about Negar?
Hottest thing about Negar is that she is very wild, beside the fact that in person I have never seen a woman with that amazing body as she has. She has amazing levels of energy and I hope she remains like that, hope she would not stick to just body. May God give her respect as an actress too.

Do you think she was deported for the right reasons?
There must be some mistakes that we have committed as well. But the way they handled the whole thing was not a proper way either. There is a way of doing everything, if I kill somebody you just can't come and kill me, in the name of law. There is a procedure for everything, if we both make mistake then what is the difference between you and me.

When you look back, do you think you would have done anything different during the incident?
Maybe I would have, because before this I never had gone into so many technicalities, I didn't know how everything works here. I don't know it's so difficult to say in words, but one always feels that more could have been done. But what and how I don't know. I was just by myself.

As a boyfriend, does it disturb you when she plays bold roles like a pole dancer, for example?
No because I always look up to work. Atleast I have a person who is honest that this is how I am and this is how I like it and this is my culture and I am comfortable with it, rather than portraying something else and you come to know...oh really! Doesn't work for me like that.

Are you two being cast in any other film too?
Yes there is another movie called Shortcut, we just kind of finished it. There are other actresses as well in the film. There is Payal Rohatgi, Mona Lisa and one more girl is being introduced, so there are 5 actresses in the movie and I am the only hero...my producer is very kind.

Do you think real life couples make great reel life pairs too?
No not necessary

What is your favourite real life couple?
There are lots of couples; I think Kareena and Shahid look fabulous together.

What are your future projects?
After Double Cross will be Shortcut, there are a couple movies more that I have signed but since the shooting hasn't been started I don't want to speak about them.
