Lara in the laughter bank...

Lara Dutta in No EntryFine, she is not the Queen Bee right now but that doesn't mean she is far from getting there. Lara Dutta has played a wide bunch of roles some of which were lapped up while most got erased from public memory. But the luscious lady is slowly finding her groove and promises her fans a fun ride with No Entry.

A title like No Entry, is there any adult humour coming this way?
Not at all, I understand, with a title as ticklish, you would think there are some corny lines in store. But that isn't the case. There is nothing crass about it. Infact, it's the kind of film that people from 6-60 can watch and melt away their worries for those 2 hours.

'Lara Theme' in No Entry?
I play the role of this wife who loves her husband to death. But somewhere fears that he will dump her one day. And this makes her suspicious of her husband. She wants to know what her husband eats, drinks, wears, shares, the minutest detail. I loved playing her because she is very unlike me.

And who is the pati-parmeshwar?
Anil! I was actually pretty daunted at the fact that I will be working opposite Anil. But he proved to be otherwise. His zeal for perfection is something worth learning. The energy and passion which he pours into the film is rare! He is at a point of his career where he can rest on his laurels. But he worked as if life depended on No Entry!

Still from No EntryWho do think has the cockiest humour among the bunch of you?
Salman, most definitely! If his lines are 'A', he will say 'K'. With him, you always loose your cues because his dialogues are never the ones that are on the script. But then he brings a flavour of his own into the scene. I guess that is the reason people love watching Salman on screen.

And the surprise packet was...
Fardeen Khan! I have never seen Fardeen in this avatar. He displays a great sense of comic timing in this film. What he has made of his character is truly incredible.

Fun Gym sessions
Bipasha had turned to gymming in a big manner, Esha is a fitness freak, I would gym whenever I could and the skinny Celina never had to weight train! So every morning she used to wear color-coordinated pretty gym gear, sit in the workout area sipping tea. And we were like, "Stop doing that, get away you perfect-10!"

Lara Dutta in the film No EntryFriends forever
Yes, we had a fabulous time bonding! After Anees calls for a wrap, we would sit by the spree and engage in some banter. It was wonderful to unwind with some like-minded people. Besides we had this crazy idea of shooting videos of all the madcap stuff that we did. We even kept nicknames for each for us. Celina used to mime and we used to be rolling in laughter. I and Esha used to pinch time from shooting schedules and go on shopping sprees. But the icing is that today even after the film is over and done with, we are still connected and meet up as often as possible. I feel lucky to have met these girls!

Getaways
Oh, we shot around the globe, Cape Town, Phuket, Mauritius. I am an outdoorsy person so it was great fun. You would find me fishing and trekking. But I simply adore Cape Town, I can spend a lifetime just discovering that place. It's paradise.

Big Goof
When you are shooting for a film of this canvas, add to that the film is a comedy, goof-ups are aplenty. There were times when I would miss the cues and wouldn't know where to come in. On another occasion, I was about to deliver these 'one-breath' long dialogues and I go 'aa-ee-ada-a-u', simply blank! Everyone on the sets would be rolling in laughter!

One thing that you did in the film that you wouldn't do otherwise?
Be so insanely suspicious about my hubby!

You would say 'No Entry' to...
Infidelity & drugs!
