Jawani Diwani has a lot to talk about. Here he gets cozy with two actresses at the same time. The actor shares his thoughts with IndiaFM.
Film Kalyug is doing well, how does it feel? It feels great. It was a very bold subject and I am glad the film is doing well.
Tell us something about Jawani Diwani.Well, the title itself suggests the youthful joyride and it's a young film with the young people. Lot of comedy and lot of fun moments! There is lot of chaos, confusion and funny moments shown in the film.
Tell us something about your character.I am playing a role of a struggling singer called Mann Kapoor. The guy is very ambitious and loves women as well. It's overall a crazy character. The whole dilemma of his life comes in when he has to take care of his career and the woman he is in love with. There is a lot of chaos, confusion and funny moments.
In Jawani Diwani you are romancing two women in Mauritius. How was it working with them?Well, it was part of my Job. Celina and Hrishita both are young and fine actresses and also give a fresh look to the film. Both are very beautiful and fun to work with.
Are you kissing Hrishita too in the film?No I am not.
All your films have scored on music, what do you think about it?It's been very fortunate that all my films had great music. And same with this film too. But I feel it's an effort of all from the actor, director, singer and music composer. I think these all are important factors to make a successful film.
Which is your favourite song in the film? Nothing in particular, all the songs are my favorites. I feel all the tracks are catchy tunes and again the way it has been shot is fabulous. The music is getting good response which is considered as half the battle won.
What about your forthcoming movies?Well, my next movie Aksar directed by Anant Mahadevan is ready.
Gangster by Anurag Basu will release in March. Again
Killer with Mahesh Bhatt is in planning stage. Then there's
Good Boy Bad Boy with Subhash Ghai and
Jhamela with Babloo Pachishia again.
There are lot of steamy scenes between you and Celina.Yes, there are bold scenes in the film. Intimacy was always a part of my films. It has been shown the way it is. But that is not the focus point of the movie.
What are your expectations from the movie? Expectations are high. It's teamwork and I expect a positive feedback. The music is already creating a buzz in the market while the rest depends on audience's reaction.
