Bipasha Basu After playing completely contrast roles in No Entry and Apharan, Bipasha Basu is back in a whole new avatar in her latest movie Shikhar. So let's have a one on one talk with the sexy Bipasha, to know more about her role in the movie Shikhar.

What made you sign up this film?
Well, I had decided that I would continue to work only with good directors. In case of Shikhar, the script was brilliant; also director John Mathew Matthan is very talented. So after hearing his narration of the story, I don't think there was any reason for not doing this film.

What is your character in this movie?
I play the character of a girl who is a super model. She has achieved a lot in life career wise but she feels that it is not her final aim in life. What she actually wants to do is to settle down with a man who'll love her the most, to have babies and live a happy family life. That is her 'Shikhar'. But to achieve this she ends up doing things that are conventionally incorrect.

Is your role in this movie similar to the one you are playing in Corporate?
Not at all! Corporate and Shikhar are two totally different films. My character in Corporate is totally distinct from what I play in Shikhar. You will notice the difference on watching the two movies.

How was it working with John Mathew Matthan?
Working with John was not at all a problem because he is very clear about what he is making. He never compromises on anything that is necessary for a particular shot; he is a lavish filmmaker in those terms. As a director, John Mathew Matthan made us all feel very comfortable. We all learned a lot from him during the making of Shikhar. So it has really been a memorable experience working with him.

Bipasha BasuTell us about your co-stars in the movie.
Ajay Devgan was definitely a great person to work with. He is a brilliant actor but along that being on sets with him was fun. He is a big prankster and keeps playing pranks on people all day. Shahid Kapur and Amrita Rao were very nice. This was the first time I worked with them and it was fun. In fact, I think that no one else other than them would fit in their roles.

Any favourite scenes in the movie?
Well, I think the scenes that I have done with Ajay Devgan have turned out neat. So I like most of my scenes with Ajay in the movie.

How is the music of the film?
Well the music is such that it help move the story ahead. While watching the movie one won't feel that the song has just been squeezed in for no reason. So I think the music of the film is very situational and melodious too.

What are your future projects?
Well, I have quite a few movies lined up for next year. There is Corporate by Madhur Bhandarkar, Yash Chopra's Dhoom 2. Also, there is RGV productions BOO - Darna Zaroori Hai and Phir Hera Pheri directed by Neeraj Vora.
