She made her debut with a spellbinding performance in the children's flick
Makdee. Then she came back with an even bigger bang in Nagesh Kukunoor's
Iqbal as the younger perky little sister of the protagonist. Meet the sweet Shweta Prasad who just cannot keep her mouth shut.
This is the first time that you are working with big stars so how does it feel?I find myself very lucky because my career started with
Makdee by Vishal Bharadwaj, followed by Mukhta Arts'
Iqbal and now my third movie is with Mahesh Manjarekar with co stars like Sanjay Dutt,
Shahid and
Amrita. It just feels great.
How were your co-stars?Shahid is a very sweet person. Being with him was fun throughout the making of this film. Amrita Rao is like a Barbie Doll. She was so sweet and adorable and she used to pamper us a lot and chat with us for hours. So it was really awesome.
How was it working with Sanjay Dutt?Initially, I was very nervous to work with him because he has this image of being a macho man, a tough strong action hero. But when he came on sets, and when I met him, he was so cool. Even when I sometimes goofed up while saying my lines, he used to be very cool about it and just smile at me. So I loved working with him.
Any fun moments on the sets?Well every moment on sets was fun. We had a blast during the making of this movie. Since this was like my first thoroughly commercial movie, I think it was a new experience.
What is your role in the film?It isn't really the role of a protagonist like I played in my earlier movies. In
Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi, I play one of the kids in the movie and each of us has a specific part to play.
How was Mahesh Manjrekar as a director? He was very cool throughout the making of the film. There was no pressure at all while working with him. He co-operated a lot with us and usually arranged the shoots after school timings. So it was great working with him.
How is the music?Himesh Reshammiya happens to be my favorite music director and for this film he has composed some really great tracks. We kids feature in one of the tracks called Koi Aap Jaisa Mil Jaye Toh Baat Ban Jaaye Sanam, which is quite good. There is also a special Hanuman Chalisa track in the album.
