Shooting for Dhoom 2 was like a college /road trip. : Aishwarya
We hear you are playing a negative role in Dhoom 2, what was it like and what was the rationale behind taking on this role with negative shades. Firstly all the talk on a lot of aspects of Dhoom and my character in the film.I would like to believe Hrithik...: Abhishek We actors expect all our films to be blockbusters because we put that kind of effort into them, we hope for the best. We had all worked very hard, we knew we had something normal and unique and simple. We then worked towards making the best possible film that we could make and thankfully the audiences appreciated our efforts. What I had done for Krrish was nothing in comparison to Dhoom 2: Hrithik You saw him rock in Krrish and now be ready to watch him set the screen on fire once again in this year's most exciting film Dhoom 2. Hrithik Roshan talks about his experiences on working on the most awaited film of the year. Ash is an easy person: Bipasha I generally do not watch any film more than once, but Dhoom was a film that I saw 4 times in a span of 15 days, so it says a lot about the film. I thought it's a kind of film which is an entertainer; it's about stunts, style, good looking people, good songs etc. Its like the Fast and the Furious, it's a fun flick so I loved it totally.I'm no tantrum thrower: Shiney Ahuja Actor Shiney Ahuja shrugs off rumours of starry behaviour, saying he is an "outsider doing his best to survive in the showbiz jungle".'Saawariya' is my most difficult film: Bhansali Ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is busy shooting "Saawariya", which he says is his most difficult film since he's working with absolute newcomers. "Saawariya" stars new entrants Ranbir and Sonam. While Ranbir is the son of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, Sonam is Anil Kapoor's daughter.I actually felt like a real actor in 'Omkara': Saif Ali Khan From the metrosexual in "Salaam Namaste" to the sinister Langda Tyagi in "Omkara", Saif Ali Khan has truly come a long way and says he is happy he could carry off both roles with élan. "Umrao Jaan goes through ..": Aishwarya Rai Umrao Jaan was not an easy performance for Aishwarya Rai, who has essayed the same role which was played by veteran actress Rekha. Aishwarya is all set to surprise the audience through her latest film. She spoke to us about her experience while shooting the movie and more.I'll do films that are marketed well: Arjun Rampal After a string of flops, model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal has become choosy and his criteria for choosing a role is - "would I like to watch it, secondly, would the producer market the film well?"When approached for an interview, he jokingly said: "Why do you want to interview me? Let me do some good work. Let my new crop of films show up. Then we'll talk."I'm inextricably linked to Bollywood: Nagesh Kukunoor "Iqbal" director Nagesh Kukunoor says the women in his latest "Dor" took shape in his mind and his film belongs to the genre of great films about female bonding like Gulzar's "Namkeen" and Deepa Mehta's "Water".
Dance is therapeutic: Sanjay Leela Bhansali It was Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's love for dance that inspired him to make films. And it is this love that has prompted him to judge a dance contest on television. Although his list of favourite dances and dancers runs long, he likes veteran actress Vyjayanthimala the best. Mumtaz, Helen, Waheeda Rahman, Hema Malini, Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi finish quite close.
I'm at the best stage of my life: Rekha Rekha, one of the most versatile actresses in Bollywood, turns 51 Tuesday and says she has reached a stage where she can do justice to any role offered to her. "For the past 10 years I've reached a stage where I could do justice to any role that came my way. It could be the role of a mother, sister-in-law, a negative or positive role. Actors cannot shy away from homosexuality: Rahul Bose Rahul Bose, the atypical leading man of films like "English August", "Mumbai Matinee", "Split Wide Open" and now "Pyaar Ke Side Effects", says he can drop his pants and his inhibitions easily because he has no image. I'll work with Tabu at the earliest opportunity: Johar Bollywood ace filmmaker Karan Johar is so impressed with Tabu's performance in Mira Nair's "The Namesake" that he is eager to work with her. "I saw Mira Nair's brilliant film 'Namesake' in Toronto. Tabu is superb in it. I'll work with her at the earliest opportunity," Johar told IANS.I was never rude to immigration officials: Abhishek Abhishek Bachchan is aghast at media reports that he had asked immigration officials in England if he should "drop his pants" during a customary investigation. "I don't speak like that," he said curtly. |
